Exatamente Soluções Educacionais is among the startups selected in the CNPq/SEMPI/MCTI Notice No. 021/2021, from the RHAE Program (Human Resources Training in Strategic Areas) aimed at promoting Human Resources in Strategic Areas.
The RHAE Program provides support for R&D projects aimed at contributing to scientific and technological development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Brazil by inserting researchers into innovative companies and startups in priority technological areas established by the MCTI (Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovations) (MCTI Ordinance No. 5,109/21), especially Strategic and Enabling Technologies, as well as Impact Businesses and GovTechs.
The Human Resources Training in Strategic Areas (RHAE) Program was a pioneering initiative created in 1987, in a partnership between the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovations (MCTI) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). It is intended for the insertion of master’s and doctoral degree holders into private companies, preferably micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of training and qualifying human resources to work on applied research or technological development projects and increase interaction between universities and companies.
Currently operated through Calls for Proposals, submitted projects must meet all the characteristics required by the public call and focus on the work that the researcher and their team will develop within the company. In 2021, a call was made with two financing lines, one to support proposals with budgets of up to R$ 400,000.00 (four hundred thousand reais), and another, exclusively for startups, to support proposals with budgets of up to R$ 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand reais).
The potential development or improvement of a product or process, coupled with the possibility of inserting researchers into R&D activities within companies, encapsulates the Program’s idea, with CNPq waiving any economic results arising from the projects.
