Today, the executive director of Exatamente, Danilo Sande, presented CriptoNio, the evolution of the Nivelamento Online game, at the IX Iberian Conference on Innovation in Education with ICT (ieTIC2023). Taking place between February 23 and 24, 2023, the event occurred in a hybrid format at the Faculty of Education, University of Salamanca, in Spain, with both on-site and online presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CriptoNio is an evolution of Nivelamento Online, incorporating new technology, features, and content, with rewards in cryptocurrencies. It is a PC and mobile game with a question-and-answer system, featuring hints, videos, personalized missions, a level progression system, multiplayer, performance reports, and rankings, aiming to engage the player and enhance their knowledge for the ENEM exam. The game allows players to be rewarded with cryptocurrencies, depending on their performance and frequency in activities, and it also includes NFT avatars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ieTIC2023 is the result of the network of Hispanic-Portuguese universities IPB\/USAL\/UAberta\/UCM, formed by the Department of Educational Technology and Information Management of the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragan\u00e7a in Portugal, the Department of Didactics, Organization and Research Methods of the University of Salamanca in Spain, the Development Unit of Local Learning Centers of the Open University in Portugal, and the Department of Educational Studies\/Didactics and School Organization of the Faculty of Education of the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The themes of ieTIC2023 are particularly important in this decade: technologies and SDGs, Open Science, engagement and digital well-being, technologies for inclusive education, immersive narratives, digital assessment strategies, projects for the development of digital competence, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the title “CriptoNio: potentialities of an educational crypto game,” the presentation was part of the Thematic Axis of Engagement and Digital Well-being, focusing on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empowering society through the appropriate use of digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Development of digital skills for the digital well-being of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital technologies to increase student motivation and engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
